ICDA Web Site Survey – Style and Content

The Indiana Choral Directors Association is planning a redesign and revamp of this web site. Your input will help the webmaster and content contributors put together a site that effectively serves the needs and desires of Association members as well as non-member musicians and the general public. The survey is divided into two parts: style (design) and content. When making comments, please be specific. Rather than say, “I want a site like MGM’s,” make specific recommendations. Design

The colors on the current site are derived from the official State of Indiana logo colors, specific shades of gold and blue. The ICDA logo incorporates the torch from the Indiana logo. With that in mind, what is your opinion of the color scheme?

What recommendations would you make for the color scheme and header/border layout? Keep in mind that computer screen resolutions vary greatly, particularly with the arrival of wide-screen monitors. For example, would you rather have a set width for the text area, with a generic matte background, or do you prefer an undefined free-flow layout (the current style)?
